Mode of Application:  Online

Application for Admission to all Programmes have to be applied to Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, Chennai in www.tnpesu.org and by downloading enquiry application form from the website of this college, www.drsacpe.com. Further, fill- up the particulars of students in this college website. In both websites upload your educational and other certificates.

ADMISSION REGULATIONS – B.P.E.S

Intake, Eligibility and Admission Procedure

Intake:

There shall be a basic unit of 60 (Sixty) students for each year.

Eligibility:

a) Qualification: A pass in +2 in the 10+2 pattern.

 b)Age: – Not completed 21 years as on 1st July. For SC / ST candidates 3 years relaxation is given.

 c) Represented the School in any Sports / Games.

 d) Medically fit without any deformity

Enclosure:

The applicant should attach the following certificates.

1. Mark statements of 10th and 12th           

2. School representation certificate in a Sport/Game

3. Transfer and Conduct Certificates

4. Community Certificate

5. Aadhar Card

6. Medical Fitness Certificate from a Government Medical Officer in the  prescribed format. (Download from the College Website)

Selection Tests:

Admission shall be made on the basis of ranking for a total of 150 marks as detailed below:-

ADMISSION REGULATIONS – B.P.Ed

Intake, Eligibility and Admission Procedure

Intake:

There shall be a basic unit of 100 (One Hundred) students with two sections of 50 (Fifty) each.

Eligibility:

a) i. Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline in 10+2+3 years pattern with 50% of marks from a recognized University and having at least participated in the inter college/Inter Zonal/District/School competition in sports and Games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/ Govt. of India.

Or

ii. Bachelor’s degree in physical education with 45% of marks

Or

iii. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with 45% of marks and studied physical education as compulsory/elective subject

Or

iv. Bachelor’s degree with 45% of marks and having participated in National/Inter University/State Competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in sports and games as recognized by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India

Or

v.  Bachelor’s degree with participation in international competitions or secured 1st, 2nd, or 3rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognized by respective federations/ AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India

Or

vi. Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience (for deputed in-service candidates i.e., trained physical education teachers/coaches)

b)   Age: Not completed 30 years as on 1st July. For SC / ST 3 years relaxation is given

Intake

There shall be a basic unit of 40 (Forty) students for each year

Eligibility

a)    Bachelor of Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent with atleast 50% of marks

b)   Age not completed 35 years as on 1st July. For SC / ST 3 years relaxation is given

c)    Should have participated in the minimum Intercollegiate Level Participation in Sports and Games.

The applicant should attach the following certificates.

  1. Mark statements of 10th, 12th, UG and B.P.Ed Degree
  2. College representation certificates in a Sports/Games
  3. Transfer and Conduct certificates
  4. Community certificate
  5. Aadhar Card

Rules and Regulations for Ph.D

Minimum Qualification for Admission,M.P.Ed. / M.P.E.S. / M.P.E

The candidates who secure 50% of the total marks altogether in entrance test, Interview and PG Degree are eligible for Ph.D. admission.

The candidates qualified in NET/SLET/SET andother National Level Eligibility Test are exempted from entrance test and they have to appear for the interview only. Such candidates secure less than 50% of marks in interview are not eligible for Ph.D. admission.

Important Instructions to the Candidates

  • Application for the Ph.D programme can be downloaded from the university website, wwwtnpesu.org.
  • A Demand Draft of Rs.750/- shall be drawn in favour of the “The Registrar, Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, Chennai -600127” should be submitted along with the filled-in application towards the cost of application for the Ph.D programme.
