Key Development Areas
Academic Expansion – New Courses
To meet the increasing demand for skilled professionals in the fitness and sports industries, the college will introduce the following short-term and certificate courses:
- Fitness Trainer Course
- Gym Instructor Certification
- Sports Event Management Programme
These courses will be industry-aligned, hands-on, and job-oriented, enabling students to explore diverse career paths.
Infrastructure Development – New Facilities
To provide a comprehensive and modern sports environment, the following new facilities will be established:
- Archery – to promote traditional Skill.
- Pickle Ball Court – introducing this fast-growing sport.
- Skating Rink – to train in roller and inline skating.
- Synthetic Track – for high-performance athletic training.
- Canoeing – promoting water-based adventure sports.
- Three Pitches for Turf Cricket – including nets and match-quality surfaces.
- Obstacle Courses – for physical endurance and military-style fitness.
Student Enrichment – New Programmes
To support academic growth, skill development, and professional readiness, the college will launch the following initiatives:
- SET/NET Coaching Programme – to prepare students for eligibility tests for lectureship.
- Sivanthi Sports Academy – a structured training programme for identifying and nurturing sports talent.
- Cambridge English Course – skill enhancement through internationally recognized English training.
- Soft Skills Programme – communication, leadership, and personality development.
- Remedial Coaching Programme – academic support for slow learners and academically weaker students.
