Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Physical Education is the “brainchild” of our Iconic Leader, Founder Padmashree Dr. B. Sivanthi Adityan.  With diligent foresight and creative effort, he established this institution, implanting the importance of physical fitness through the Physical Education Program. Its aim, “Sports for Excellence”, shows the potential of sporting activity in developing a healthy Human Capital. This college has started to evolve and emerge as one of the Best Institutions of Physical Education, with the support and encouragement of Thiru. S. Balasubramanian Adityan, Chairman, Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Physical Education, developed incredible Sporting Facilities unfolding the opportunity to develop competent Sports Personnel, who can empower Youth. Our college envisages providing a supportive environment for quality teaching and learning, which compliments sports skills and knowledge to the college students with an increased responsibility of preparing a healthy Community.

The overall development of an individual is fulfilled when he is physically fit, mentally sound, morally stable, and intellectually strong. Physical Education and sports provide, all the ingredients needed for a wholesome development of a person. Though ‘Sport’ is a single entity it has multi-dimensional features that can make an individual function with full potential. There is also a possibility of 100% Placement after completion of the Degree Courses (B.P.Ed., M.P.Ed. & B.P.E.S) offered at our institution. We strive for excellence in Physical Education and Allied Sciences through dynamic Programs of Physical Activities to pursue high Standards in this Teacher Education Profession.
